August 21st – 26th, Stephen Major and Nicholas Wickes are competing in the Gore-Tex TransRockies Run through Buena Vista, Leadville and Beaver Creek, CO.
Teams of two and solo runners participate in the 115 mile, 6-day race foot race through a mix of single track and forest road with nearly 25,000 feet of elevation gain, reaching altitudes of over 12,500 ft.
